Give to support Grant Lovellette's ministry.

Since his appointment as a long-term volunteer in January 2005,
Grant has served as deputy coordinator of the Roma-Gadje Dialogue
Through Service Initiative, a cooperative effort of the voluntary
service arms of many churches of Western Europe, Central/Eastern
Europe, and North America, along NGOs and Roma organizations.
The Roma-Gadje Dialogue is part of a program of the European
Council of Churches called the “Roma Initiative,”
which is committed to improving the social, political, and economic
standing of the Roma in Europe. The Roma Initiative, begun in
2003, has started this long-term commitment to transforming European
society by placing volunteers from all over Europe and the United
States to do community service work within Roma communities. Another
goal of the program is to enable young Roma men and women to be
volunteers within other Roma communities. As the Hungarian Reformed
Church sees it, Roma need to get outside their communities to
see what other Roma are doing, and it’s especially important
that Roma see how in some places Roma are accepted by non-Roma
and allowed to show their creativity, energy, and care.
